FAMIS is Virginia's health insurance program for children. It makes health care affordable for children of eligible families. FAMIS covers all the medical care growing children need to avoid getting sick, plus the medical care that will help them if they do get sick or get hurt. The FAMIS MOMS program provides health care coverage for pregnant women.

Healthy Families Roanoke Home Visiting Program helps parents with the changes in their lives that come along with pregnancy and the birth of a child. Having a new baby can be both exciting and overwhelming. Whether you are a first-time or a repeat parent, we want to make you feel comfortable and give you the confidence to do a good job as a mother or father. We will spend time talking, showing, sharing, and supporting you to become the best parent you can be.

The mission of B.R.E.A.S.T. Roanoke is to educate, advocate and support families in the Roanoke Valley along their breastfeeding journey. We aim to empower people across racial, ethnic, gender identity, lifestyle, and socioeconomic boundaries to create space for themselves and their children in their work and leisure lives so as to breastfeed their children as they see fit.

Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare (BRBH) is the Community Services Board serving adults, children and families with mental health disorders, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders in the Roanoke Valley of Virginia. We serve residents of the Cities of Roanoke and Salem, and the Counties of Botetourt, Craig, and Roanoke.

Postpartum Support Virginia’s MISSION is to help new and expectant mothers and their families overcome anxiety, depression, and other perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs).

WIC, or the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children, is a nutrition program that helps improve the health of pregnant women, infants, and children (under 5 years of age) through better nutrition and access to health care.

Smart2Start joins public school systems, Head Start programs, and private providers to give all families access to early care and education resources. Working together, we can ensure every child enters kindergarten with the skills needed to succeed in school and in life.

Roanoke Doula Collective (RDC) is a group of independent birth and postpartum professionals. We are devoted to, and passionate about, supporting birthing individuals & families! This means RDC is committed to providing respectful care to families and individuals of differing religions, ethnicity, race, sexual orientations and identity.

Blue Ridge Women's Center improves the well-being of women and their families through a medical clinic specializing in unplanned pregnancy, relationships, and reproductive health.
