What is Huddle Up Moms?

Huddle Up Moms is a non-profit organization, located in Roanoke Virginia. Huddle Up Moms empowers all mothers in the Roanoke and New River Valleys through education, meaningful connections, and community support. We envision a future in which all mothers have the support they need to be healthy, happy, and confident to flourish in all areas of their lives.

Huddle Up Mom’s work is purpose-driven. We aim to develop and sustain a community-based organization that supports women on their motherhood journeys; to design a platform where mothers can become leaders within the community; to initiate discussions about community change related to women's livelihoods; and to take collective action in bringing those discussions to life in our community, state, and beyond.

What is the Annual Women’s Health Resource Summit?

The Annual Women's Resource Summit is a signature event that empowers women through education, support and meaningful connections. It is a holistic approach to maternal health which brings together a variety of maternal health and community providers in the Roanoke area to bridge connections and build their villages to support their motherhood journeys.

Throughout the event, mothers of all walks of life and stages of motherhood can expect small group discussions with experts, interactive sessions with community partners & maternal health providers, networking sessions with health professionals & community leaders, and networking opportunities with a variety of diverse community partners and our peer-support Huddle leaders.

What makes The Summit unique?
The Summit is the only event in the Roanoke Valley tailored to meet the needs of mothers, with a particular emphasis on supporting pregnant and postpartum women. The Summit brings together clinical providers, local community agencies and nonprofits, and other unique and valuable resources to create a “one-stop shop” for moms looking for education, connection, and support. Over the past three years, this event has grown exponentially and has become the signature event for those partners and organizations trying to reach this population.
